Digging In: Baby, it’s gonna be cold outside

I'm really debating whether to cover my tomatoes or just chuck it all in and harvest what's left for a big 'ol green tomato feast.
I'm wondering about my cellini beans, though. Ideally you harvest them after the pods are dried out, but should you leave the green pods out for a freeze? Guess I need to Google.
Your radishes should do fine without a cover. They like cooler temperatures and will tolerate early frost. The ground's not going to freeze for a while yet.

You could be a Vermont farmer with you extensive knowledge of frost. Our first one came a couple of weeks ago. My garden is nothing but a tangled, shriveled mess waiting to be put to bed. I'll take some of those cukes!

Enjoyed reading your gardening comments. Sounds like winter is almost here. Hope the pantry is full.
